She Stood Frozen 

She stood frozen

Shocked to the core

Her lips quietly quivered 

And she could nothing utter

A moment before 

Everything was alright 

And in her hubby's embrace 

She was blushing very bright 

And dreaming of a future

As bright as the sun light

Since their love was so true

So soared their mind like a kite

But everything changed 

Within a bit of a minute 

When terrorists there reached

And inhumanity crossed limit 

Their guns boomed

And the Ghati there silently stood

As a silent spectator she also stood

In awe and agony as she could 

To her fate she cursed

As she drank the cups of sorrow 

As her husband lay dead there 

She lost her joys, lost her morrow 

And the afternoon turned red

With the innocents' blood

And Baisarn was a silent witness 

As dead bodies rolled on the sod.
